Your paintings and photographs on the start screen of our app. Every day they will be seen by thousands of people who choose to move. We accept works about Kazakhstan: the steppe, mountains, traditions, people, cities.
Art in Motion is a project by the S89 Fitness club network for artists, illustrators and photographers of Kazakhstan. We are opening our most visible screen to you — the start screen of our mobile app.
A curator selects the best works. Every approved work becomes the "work of the day": it opens the app all day long and then stays in the in-app gallery with your name and a link to your profile. Every month club members vote for their favourite work of the season, and its author receives a three-month membership.
Two conditions: the work tells a story about Kazakhstan and was made by you — without generative AI.
Confirm your number via WhatsApp, fill in the form and attach up to 5 works on a Kazakh theme.
The curator reviews submissions and picks the strongest works.
Works accepted before the 1st go live the following month: each gets its own day on the start screen and stays in the season gallery.
Club members choose the best work of the season. The prize is a three-month membership.
Your work opens the app full screen, credited to you. One day — one work. Afterwards it stays in the season gallery, where people can vote for it.
Painting, graphics, photography, digital illustration — any technique, as long as the work is made by your own hand. What matters is a recognisable Kazakh context. A connection to movement and sport is a plus.

A season is one calendar month. Throughout the month club members vote in the app for the season's works, and the author of the work with the most votes receives the prize. If more works are selected than there are days in the month, some move to the next season.
Season № 01 starts on 1 November. From that day, every day one of the selected works opens the S89 Fitness app full-screen and then stays in the season gallery. Works sent by 31 October inclusive will be part of it.
Works sent by 31 Oct inclusive will be shown in season № 01 — November.
The curator will review your submission within 7 days and message you on WhatsApp. You can attach up to 5 works per submission.
By submitting, you confirm your authorship and accept the project terms. AI-generated works and other people's works are removed from display.

No. We only accept works created by the author: painting, graphics, photography, digital illustration drawn by hand. Works generated entirely or mostly by AI (Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion and similar) are not accepted, and those already shown are removed. Ordinary photo editing — colour, light, cropping — is allowed.
This tells us the submission came from a real author, and lets us contact you when your work is selected or wins the vote.
The project curator evaluates works for quality, originality and connection to Kazakh themes. Every approved work gets its own day — it opens the app for that whole day.
The project runs in seasons, one per calendar month. Works sent before the 1st are shown the following month: for example, works sent before 1 November are shown in November, and works sent in November are shown in December. Every selected work gets its own day.
Throughout the month club members vote in the app for the season's works. The winner is announced at the start of the next month — in the app and on the club's Instagram.
Yes. You grant the club a non-exclusive right to show the work in the app and on social media with your name. The copyright stays with you; you can sell and publish the work anywhere.
By submitting, you confirm that you are the author and have the consent of the people depicted. If the work turns out to belong to someone else, we will remove it, cancel the prize, and the person who submitted it will settle any claims of the rights holder themselves — see the project terms for details.
